Healing Touch in Englewood

I graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy Family of Schools-Aurora, Colorado in 2007.  In addition to my practice, I vonlunteer once a week at the Aurora, Colorado Ronald McDonald House, providing chair massages to the families staying at the house.  Massage can be beneficial in times of a health crisis and can help prevent stress from making the health issues more serious.  I practice Swedish, Deep Tissue/Structural, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Chair Massage.  A chair massage can be a perfect afternoon or lunch pick-me-up or a great way to unwind from a long day at  work.

I provide healing touch for stress and pain relief.  I am dedicated to health, healing and well being.  It is a great complement to physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, and other healing systems.  I offer a wide range of massage modalities.  I offer adjunct therapy not an alternative therapy.  It is not within my scope of practice to diagnose or change any prescriptions you may be taking, but massage therapy and bodywork may lessen the effects of disease.    If you have a condition that is complicated or advanced, I may ask you to get a written consent from you primary care physician stating massage therapy is not contraindicated in your case.  I may ask to speak with your primary physician and keep in contact with him or her during your treatment.  Massage therapy and bodywork can help relieve stress, relieve pain from injury, surgery or disease, or just because you feel like it.   I will emphasize one particular technique, or use a combination of modalities to ensure the best results for you.  Each session is tailored to your particular situation, and the pace and pressure throughout the massage are customized to suit your needs. In most cases, I will ask you undress to your comfort level, but I will undrape only the area I am presently working on.  You may choose to leave your clothes on, but please understand that may limit the effectiveness of the massage.  While I offer full body massage, I particularly enjoy treating a specific problem (neck, back, arms and hands, legs and feet, etc.) in one session, from 15 minutes to 60 minutes.  I also offer several add-ons, hot towel, hand paraffin treatment, or foot bath, free with any service.  Your complete satisfaction is my number one goal.  Feel free to contact me by phone or email prior to setting up an appointment to discuss your needs and goals for massage therapy and/or bodywork.
